What we do
FCAG is very much about coaching and training in paddlesports. Members participate in river kayaking, sea kayaking and some are open canoeists. Our club activities are led by coaches and paddlesport leaders, who have a wide experience both in Scotland and abroad.
Our Tuesday evening loch sessions provide an opportunity to learn paddlesports, or simply a chance to spend a pleasant evening on the water.
We do run weekend trips on rivers and the sea, usually using kayaks rather than open canoes.
We have a range of equipment for use by members, including river running kayaks, open canoes and sea kayaks.
Members also regularly paddle outwith club trips and generally are very glad to have new folk along. Club equipment can’t be used on such trips, though.
Current activity
In the warmer months we run Tuesday evening activities at Lochore Meadows and during the winter months we continue with Tuesday evening activities but in the swimming pool.
We have a limited amount of qualified coaches and leaders that restricts our ability to take on new members, however if you are interested in joining or want more information then please get in touch.
If you are a novice, we may still be able to get you along. Please see the Learning to Paddle page.
